In 1925 the 6C series was first presented by the Italian car manufacturer Alfa Romeo. 6C stands for 6 cylinder engines. The engines, drive train as well as the chassis were all developed by Alfa Romeo. The body until 1933 was done by a specialist, which was well known for that.From 1933 onwards Alfa Romeo produced the bodies in house in the Portello factory. After the war the 6C 2500 production was already continued in 1946. Until 1953 1830 car left the factory. Very well-known body versions were the Freccia d%u2019Oro, Villa d%u2019Este and Corsa. The successor of the 6C was the Alfa Romeo 1900, which also had various elegant body versions.
